About Us

VS&B is a full-service firm comprised of eleven attorneys — five partners and six associates — as well as several attorneys who are "of counsel" and law clerks. Each named partner leads a team.

Mr. Voss leads the business team, working on matters including business formation, lease negotiation, real estate acquisition, harassment claims, and dissolution. Ms. Silverman leads the family law team including divorce and custody matters.  Mr. Braybrooke leads the civil litigation team.

As a whole, we represent individuals, families, and corporate clients throughout the state. Our corporate clients include GEICO, Vons and Safeway supermarkets; RLI Insurance, Long John Silvers; Pizza Hut; Taco Bell; and A&W restaurants in the Los Angeles area and up through Central California.

We are known for an uncommon loyalty to our clients and our community by insisting our work is performed with the highest level of integrity, creativity, and tenacity. With each matter for each client, we discuss various options, we agree on clear goals, and we decide on a deliberate plan to achieve our goals before tenaciously pursuing them to the end.

Because VS&B believes in giving back to the community, we encourage our personnel to take responsibility as good citizens in supporting community organizations that work to improve the lives of others. Following this philosophy and our support for the President’s initiative on volunteerism, our personnel have volunteered substantial time as well as pro bono legal services to many community organizations including the Rotary Club of Venice-Marina, California, Optimists Club of Marina del Rey, Boys & Girls Club of Venice, Big Brothers of America, Venice High School, Chambers of Commerce and the L.A. County Bar Barristers Homeless Shelter Program.
